Dexter: Misunderstood
Misunderstood was the first word that Dexter was coming back, the teaser that announced the return before anyone knew what the new season would be. We titled that first tease for Showtime and The Joelsons, and set the tone for everything that followed.
Frost and First Contact
The new Dexter had moved somewhere cold, so the titles lived in ice. We combined live-action practical effects, snow simulation, and icy CG renders into a frozen title treatment, the first hint of the frigid world the show was heading into. A short teaser with one job: make people feel Dexter was back, and back somewhere new.
