The Studio

Rocket Lab is a small studio that takes on big work. We've spent twenty years making things we're proud of, two partners and a trusted circle of senior artists, editors, and producers we've worked alongside the whole way. The same people, project after project. No rotating bench of juniors. We stay hands-on, we stay invested, and we treat every project like it matters, because it does.

The Partners

Justin Puda

Executive Producer / Partner

Justin started in photography school and never really left the camera behind. Cinematography, lighting, CG, animation. He's done all of it since 2002, which is why he produces the way he does. He knows what every seat on a project actually takes. These days he's the EP and creative lead on everything that comes through Rocket Lab: Dexter: New Blood for Showtime, a Reese's Super Bowl spot, work for Google, Coca-Cola, and Audible.

Ben Watts

Creative Director / Partner

Ben builds the work. Creative director on paper, artist in practice. He's spent his career in advertising, film, and TV making CG that usually takes a whole department, most of it deep in Houdini. Every project at Rocket Lab runs through him. Hands on, every day. Clients figure that out fast, and it's usually why they come back.
